Coratina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
A premium monocultivar extra virgin oils (monocultivar meaning only one type of olive is used, not a blend like many others). The oil is cold-extracted and processed within 6-7 hours of picking. It is truly a premium olive oil from Italy.
Production area: Apulia : North of Bari Terlizzi e Bitonto.
Variety of olives : Monovarietal Ogliarola and Monovarietal Coratina
Harvest method: Hand and mechanical picking.
Extraction method: Cold (temperature below 27°C) within 6 hours of
harvesting.
Taste Coratina: Intensely fruity, slightly spicy. Very high concentration
of polyphenols and very low amount of peroxide.
